Rooted in sustainability, community building, and accessible greenery, the brand goes beyond selling plants by fostering a sense of belonging through workshops and educational programs. My design work for this project aimed to align with this mission, creating a visual identity and materials that embody sustainability, growth, and community.
The Story Behind Mini Greens
As urban spaces become increasingly detached from the natural world, Mini Greens saw an opportunity to bridge this gap. By offering personalized services for plant lovers and those new to gardening, the brand provides not only greenery but also knowledge and a sense of connection. With sustainability and education at its core, the challenge was to craft a visual identity that resonates with its mission while appealing to an audience eager to bring nature into their everyday lives.
Research & Inspiration: Laying the Groundwork
The design process began with an in-depth exploration of Mini Greens' audience, industry, and visual inspiration. Understanding the target demographic—young professionals, families, and urban community members who value sustainability and creativity—helped shape a brand identity that would be both modern and welcoming. Drawing inspiration from nature, the visual language incorporates organic shapes, botanical illustrations, and earthy textures to reflect the lush vibrancy of plant life. Additionally, a competitor analysis provided insight into how Mini Greens could stand out among other eco-conscious brands, ensuring a unique and compelling aesthetic.

Design Development: Shaping the Brand Identity
The visual identity of Mini Greens needed to capture the brand’s approachable and modern philosophy. The logo design features a minimalist, clean emblem with a sprouting plant symbolizing growth and connection to nature. Rounded edges and organic forms add warmth and approachability, reinforcing the sense of community that the brand embodies. Typography plays a key role in the brand’s personality, blending sans-serif fonts for clarity with rounded serif accents to introduce a touch of elegance and friendliness.
